THE STRUCTURE OF A LINEHAUL RUN
Our linehaul run structure is set up for solo drivers.
All drivers run on dedicated routes that make sure they are home at the end of their shift.
Our drivers enjoy our schedule for the flexibility that allows them to be home every day for their families!
How we operate
There are two distinct types of FedEx Ground routes: pick-up and delivery (P&D) routes or linehaul runs.
THE BASICS OF OUR LINEHAUL RUN
While P&D operates exclusively during the day, linehaul often operates at night. Because linehaul runs are not tied to business or residential delivery, linehaul operators have the flexibility to drive during lower traffic times.
Some linehaul runs will have specified start and end locations while others will have a known start location, but varying destinations.
Linehaul drivers must hold a valid CDL license and must meet specific driver experience requirements.
